After The Cure's Robert Smith said he was 'sickened' by Ticketmaster adding the extra costs for the price of their tickets, he has now revealed that 'as a gesture of goodwill, Ticketmaster have offered a $10 refund to all verified fan accounts.'
Tickets for their upcoming 2023 tour went on sale this week, but many fans, along with Smith himself, declared theirAnd after slamming Ticketmaster as ‘greedy’, rocker Smith 63, fumed that he was ‘sickened’ by the ticket fees debacle adding that ‘the artist has no way to limit them.’
‘We didn’t agree to the dynamic pricing thing,’ he said. ‘It is a bit of a scam. Ticketmaster have agreed with us that the fees being charged were unduly high.’ ‘And a $5 ticket refund to all verified fan accounts for all other ticket price transactions, for all Cure shows at all venues.’
