Robby's karate advantage in Cobra Kai explained.
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT In Cobra Kai season 6's Sekai Taikai, Robby Keene might have one huge advantage over all the other Cobra Kai characters. Robby has had one of the most cathartic arcs in the Cobra Kai franchise. After starting his journey as a troublemaker, too consumed by his hate towards his father, Robby became a disciple of the Miyagi way in Cobra Kai's season 1.
Robby Has Trained Under Four Different Senseis In Cobra Kai Unlike Miguel, Robby started learning karate by chance in Cobra Kai season 1. His initial plan was to get close to Daniel LaRusso only to make his father jealous. However, somewhere along the way, he started looking up to Daniel and became his first karate student after Sam. Under Daniel's guidance, Robby learned the Miyagi style of fighting that involved honing his defense and counterstriking abilities.
In Cobra Kai season 5, Robby finally tried to forgive his father and briefly trained under him. On the surface, making amends with Johnny and training with him did not significantly change his fighting style. However, given how Robby was previously an impulsive fighter, often driven by his overwhelming anger towards his father, improving his relationship with Johnny allowed him to become more grounded, thoughtful, and present during his fights.
