Residents have been warned of delays near a primary school after a road was shut to enable works.
Grange Road in Bushey will be closed until May 10 while UK Power Networks engineers carry out"essential repairs" to an underground cableA huge hole has been created for work to be carried out. A UK Power Networks spokesperson said it is “to maintain reliable power supplies in the local area” and the “road closure is necessary to safely carry out this work”.“We apologise for any disruption caused by our roadworks and will complete the work as quickly as possible,” they added.
Pictures show both sides of Grange Road have been blocked with barriers and cones, with a large hole dug for the cable lines to be accessed.The work started on Sunday, April 30.
