There’s so much to like about the skill set McClary brings to the table. At a camp in New Jersey a few weeks ago, McClary was outstanding in coverage, locking down receivers and tight ends throughout the one-on-one sessions. He has an impressive frame already and has room to add more muscle mass as he matures. What makes him unique right now is his speed in space for a player that size. I expect him to be a stock riser as college coaches get a better look at him throughout the spring and summer.
He can play in space and cover fairly well but he isn’t exactly built like a typical long, angular edge rusher. It was really impressive to see how well he moved in space for a player that size and once more college coaches get a look at him it would not be surprising to see him get more offers.It’s been awhile since our last in-person evaluation of Williams and he’s done a really nice job filling out his lean frame.
