In his witness statement to the public inquiry, seen by The Guardian, the PM allegedly claimed that he did ‘not have access’ to the messages in question
Evidence will be heard by the inquiry, which will be examining the Government’s handling of the pandemic, on Tuesday. Mr Sunak became Prime Minister in October 2022, but was chancellor of the exchequer from 13 February 2020 to 5 July 2022.
