Ex-Everton forward Richarlison has opened up on the difficulties he's face off the pitch in recent months
Ex-Everton forward Richarlison says he will seek the help of a psychologist when he returns to Tottenham Hotspur - after lifting the lid on the struggles he's endured off the pitch in 2023.
Richarlison was pictured in tears after being substituted during Brazil's 5-1 victory over Bolivia on Friday after missing a handful of opportunities. However, the forward has set the record straight and insisted his outpour of emotion was a consequence of the hardships he has faced off the field. "I went through a turbulent time in the last five months off the field. Now things are right at home. People who only had an eye on my money walked away from me. Now things will start to flow, I'm sure I'll get a good run at Tottenham and make things happen again.
According to Football.London, Richarlison recently parted company with businessman Renato Velasco, who had been involved in the forward's career since its early stages. Now, the Brazilian has revealed he will seek psychological help when he reports back to the North London later this week.
