Aberdeen are at a monumental point of the season and could be in the relegation playoff spot if things don't go their way this week.

Richard Jensen believes the promise of huge rewards this week can surge much-needed energy into faltering Aberdeen.

However, defeat to the Swedes at home and back-to-back losses to Hibs and Hearts quickly put Robson and his team under the spotlight. The initial response was impressive. Huge wins over Ross County in league and cup, a massive triumph over Rangers at Ibrox and a terrific showing against Eintracht in Frankfurt moved things back on course again.

Robson admitted his team were leggy at Kilmarnock and the team may have needed freshening. Yet new summer signings acquired to boost the ranks to cope with the extra demands such as Pape Gueye, Or Dadia, Rhys Williams and Ester Sokler haven’t started a league game. Once again, there was a lack of fightback spirit.

Jensen is aware the Dons need to find a spark. The defender feels the magnitude of the matches will bring their own vibrancy into the group as he said: “Absolutely. Every game is big. So I am really looking forward to the coming week. It’s a chance to make things right. Climb the table and make a huge step in the cup.
