These new premium true wireless earbuds from final have always-on Active Noise Canceling and support Qualcomm's high-quality Snapdragon Sound technology using the aptX Adaptive codec.

To produce the ZE8000, final researched and developed its own ‘f-CORE for 8K Sound’ using a proprietary ultra-low distortion driver design. The diaphragm is incredibly light with an unusually large diameter of 13mm because it’s built around an aluminum-magnesium dome injection molded onto a flexible silicone surround.

The company claims its own ANC is so advanced that it doesn’t degrade the audio quality. That’s a bold claim, but I think that’s a fair comment from my tests. Unlike less sophisticated ANC, you can’t feel or hear the ANC in action and it doesn’t squash the frequency range. The result is an ANC that isn’t quite as isolating as some of the more severe implementations, but it’s more than adequate to tame those irritating background noises on a train or in a plane.

Another feature unique to the ZE8000 is its Volume Step Optimizer, enabling the user to fine-tune the listening volume by adjusting the smartphone’s standard volume control to offer finer steps of volume adjustment. This setting can be customized using the final Connect app and easily be enabled or disabled.

Both the shape and design of the ZE8000 earbuds are optimized to make them comfortable to wear and to stay in the ear when worn, even when exercising. The part of the earbud that fits in the ear is specially shaped to fit all shapes and sizes of ears. The earbuds are supplied with several silicone ear tips in different sizes. Each earbud has controls for pausing music, skipping tracks and other basic commands.
