The owner of women’s clothing retailer New York & Co. Stores Inc. said Wednesday that it might have to file for bankruptcy as it grapples with significant disruption caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
Parent RTW Retailwinds Inc. also warned about its ability to continue as a going concern in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and said it was working with its independent auditor, BDO USA LLP, to finalize disclosures on how Covid-19 has affected its business.
