Free agent lefthander Drew Smyly will sign with the Philadelphia Phillies and likely join the starting rotation, according to multiple reports.Smyly, 30, pitched in 13 games with the Texas Rangers this season, going 1-5 with an 8.42 ERA.Over his career, Smyly has appeared in 169 games across six MLB seasons, compiling a 32-32 record with a 4.13 ERA and striking out 604 batters in 621 2/3 innings.
