According to a new report, Loki Season 2 has had some staff changes behind-the-scenes, with a few new writers having joined the show.
is reporting that Michael Waldron — the showrunner for Loki Season 1 and writer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness — is showrunner for Loki Season 2 alongside Eric Martin. Martin wrote multiple episodes of the first season, which also featured Waldron, Martin, Elissa Karasik, Bisha K. Ali, Tom Kauffman, and Jess Dweck as writers.
Brett Maline and Kasra Farahani have joined the series as staff writers for Season 2 while Katharyn Blair is set as Executive Story Editor. Finally, Rachel Sydney Alter has joined Waldron and Martin as a producer.on October 6 stars Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie, Owen Wilson as Mobius, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Judge Renslayer, and Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15. So far, Wilson and Mbatha-Raw are confirmed to return for the next season.
Fans last saw the God of Mischief during the Season 1 finale. In the episode, he found himself trapped in another alternate reality of the TVA, after parting ways with Sylvie who killed Majors’ He Who Remains. Loki Season 2 is directed by Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, who recently helmed the Moon KnightLoki Season 2 hails from head writer and executive producer Eric Martin. The new installment will be executive produced by Martin, Hiddleston, and Season 1 head writer Michael Waldron.
