A rare job opportunity on a remote Scottish island has become available that could be perfect for anyone tired of city living and keen to start a more peaceful life.

Based at the Dunrossness Delivery Office, the successful applicant would be delivering mail in one of the most stunning settings in Scotland and beyond. Those applying for the position should be prepared to walk for long periods of time in any weather, and must have a full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points. Meanwhile, applicants should also be "upbeat, independent and self-motivated" and "organised, punctual and ready to deliver great customer service".

The position comes with 22.5 days of holiday per year, an "excellent maternity and paternity leave policy", and "various discounts including high street vouchers, travel and attraction discounts, and savings on beauty products and gym membership".
