The queen-sized blankets made by Sunbeam can overheat and pose a fire or burn hazard, according to the CPSC.
They have a model number of 32810027 which can be found with the Sunbeam logo on the blanket’s care label.
Owners of the blanket are being told to stop using them, unplug them and contact Star Elite for a full refund, according to theYou’ll be instructed to destroy the blanket by cutting the power cord at the plug, marking an “X” with a permanent marker and sending the company a photo of the damaged blanket. You’ll also need to complete a recall registration form foundIf you have questions, call Star Elite at 877-383-6399 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
