The 40-year-old wife of Jamie Vardy has given her first interview since last week's verdict. In a teaser clip, she appeared to be emotional as she discussed the high-profile court case.
Rebekah Vardy said she feels"let down by the legal system" in her first interview since losing the Wagatha Christie libel case against Coleen Rooney.
Vardy, who is married to Leicester City footballer Jamie Vardy, appeared to become emotional in a teaser clip released ahead of an interview with TalkTV.against Rooney, 36, over a viral social media post. The High Court judge found Rooney's Instagram post outing Vardy for leaking stories to The Sun was"substantially true".
Vardy has given her first interview since the judgment and can be seen growing tearful as she sits down with host Kate McCann.The former I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! contestant looks toward the news anchor and says:"Oh come on, you can't ask me that." Later in the teaser, Vardy adamantly says:"I will say that 'til I'm blue in the face. I did not do it."
