Money found during a Saskatchewan Highway Patrol search of a semi truck has been seized under the province\u0027s civil forfeiture program.

The Highway Patrol members seized the cash at the scene for further investigation, and two people travelling in the semi were arrested. The release noted investigators determined they were bound for Headingly, Manitoba. RCMP, Highway Patrol and members of a multi-service intelligence-gathering unit based in Regina all worked on the investigation in the months after the money was first seized.
