Raven Ridge says it will update News 8 when it knows more.
Two raccoons were found back in June in Mount Joy, Lancaster County, after being stranded inside a semi-trailer delivery truck. The trailer came from Denver, Colorado.
The momma raccoon was OK, but her babies, known as kits, were struggling and taken to Raven Ridge Wildlife Center in the Washington Borough of Lancaster County. Raven Ridge just gave an update, saying its team raised two very healthy raccoons. The wildlife center had hoped to return them to Colorado, but state law won't allow them back in the state. So now, the group is looking for a sanctuary to place them in.
