People in Glasgow can use the service for advice and support if they are worried about paying bills.
Rapper Professor Green has helped to launch pop-up events for people in Glasgow who are worried about paying energy bills.
Now British Gas is hosting a series of pop-ups across the country where people can visit for independent advice, support and information on accessing grants. After growing up with his grandmother who struggled to pay bills, Professor Green understands the anxieties people feel and wants to encourage others to seek help by supporting the initiative.
"With over 100 Pop-Ups happening across the country, I’d urge people to attend one to get answers to their concerns and find out if they’re eligible for a grant, which could help alleviate some of their worries and hopefully improve their financial situation.”It is estimated that nearly half of us are confused or unsure about what support is out there for our energy bills, and the pop-ups aim to reassure people and provide accurate, face-to-face advice.
“As always, our mission is to help alleviate the detrimental impact of poverty and by working closely with local organisations we are able to provide much-needed financial and practical support to vulnerable members of the community, whether you’re a British Gas customer or not.
