Rangers player ratings vs Livingston as Sam Lammers and Danilo off the mark in Ibrox win
It was an afternoon to remember for Michael Beale's new recruits as Sam Lammers, Danilo, Abdallah Sima and Kieran Dowell all netted their first goals for the club as the Light Blues moved up a gear in the final stages to put the game out of sight. The introduction of his players from the bench added a spark to the home side and made sure of a big win in the first home game of the season and a first three points on the board this campaign after a shock defeat at Kilmarnock last weekend.
James Tavernier - 6 Skipper loves to get up and down the park. Spent most of his game in the Livingston half but was quiet by his standards. Borna Barisic - 6 Like Tavernier, loves to get involved in the attack and overlap to use his strong delivery. Did what was required. Todd Cantwell - 6 A big player for this side. His effort was saved for opener. Brings that unpredictable factor but didn't do it enough in this one. Subbed.
Danilo - 7 Off the mark after heading home. Close to second but smacked the post. Looked much more effective when moved up top. Big confidence boosting afternoon.
