Rangers have announced the sad passing of the much-loved Mary ‘Tiny’ Gallacher.
Tiny, who served the club for over 50 years, was a treasured friend to generations of players and staff at Ibrox.
Her family ties didn’t end there with her sister Irene working alongside her in the catering department, her husband John working in hospitality at the stadium, and her dad Willie and Uncle Davy also being part of the Rangers family. In 2001, Tiny was invited to Monte Carlo to receive a special UEFA award on behalf of her loyal service to the club.
Tiny was given a guard of honour from the players in April 2019 to mark her retirement and watched as Steven Gerrard’s side produced a 3-0 win over Hearts at Ibrox.
