2024 Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy’s campaign announced Saturday that he had met the criteria set forth by the Republican National Committee to qualify for the first debate.
The qualifications include 40,000 individual donors, Ramaswamy’s campaign says it has more than 65,000, and to be polling at least 1% in three separate polls, which Ramaswamy is. His campaign cited two Morning Consult polls showing him at 8%, a Kaplan Strategies poll showing him at 12%, and a Harvard/Harris poll showing him at 10%. According to RealClearPolitics, he averages in third place, sitting at 5.9%.
