The new truck is codenamed Project 291 and has been in the works for quite some time. The teaser video also shows the new Ram pickup sliding around a dirt test track while also climbing a set of stairs without breaking a sweat.Ram notes that the new vehicle is the first that it has developed and will produce in South America. It has also been confirmed the truck will sport the brand’s turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder Hurricane 4 engine, similar to the powertrain offered in the Jeep Wrangler and other Stellantis models.
