He created memes with his eyes bulging on missed putts and let out some rather loud expletives on others. On one iron shot Friday, his club flew out of his hand and rolled down his back. Rahm making a move seemed unlikely, as he hadn’t really been in contention in a tournament since April.
The key to Rahm is that he has all the tools in his bag. He’s accurate off the tee. His irons are fantastic and his short game is normally a strength. So when he’s rolling, there are few courses that he can’t take control of. Rahm has played less golf the last two months, skipping the Scottish Open and playing in just three tournaments since the May PGA Championship.
