Officers said a large amount of alcohol was taken "quite blatantly" from the Clitheroe branch of the supermarket chain earlier this month. As part of an appeal for information, the force has released a CCTV image of a man they'd like to speak to.The officer said officers need to identify him in relation to the shoplifting offence. Appealing for help, they said the incident happened on September 18.
Writing on the Ribble Valley Police Facebook page, they said: "If you have any information that may be relevant, please contact us on either 101 and quote log number LC-20230918-0970. Alternatively you can email the OIC and quote investigation 04/153039/23. Email address for the OIC is [email protected]."
