Quincy Williams goal this year for Jets is finding consistency and building to head coach Robert Saleh’s termed “501” graduate level of football.
After having one of his best seasons in 2022, Quincy Williams has put that behind him and has new goals for the upcoming year: finding consistency and building to head coach Robert Saleh’s termed “501” graduate level of football.
It’s not a difficult mindset to have, he noted when surrounded by a 10-time Pro Bowler and future Hall of Famer in Aaron Rodgers — who continuously counters Williams and the defense in practice. Last season Williams’ number of tackles in each game fluctuated, with extreme outliers of 14 and 3, but he believes treating each practice as a game will help him be more consistent in his third season, after re-with $9 million in guaranteed money.
