On Tuesday, the Jaguars placed both offensive lineman Ben Bartch (left knee) and outside linebacker K'Lavon Chaisson (left knee) on the team's reserve/injured list.

"He was in a really good spot, playing well. My heart goes out to him and obviously a speedy recovery but when he comes back next year he'll be ready," Pederson said Wednesday.

Jaguars OL Tyler Shatley will start in Bartch's place, Pederson said. Shatley has been with the team since being signed as an undrafted free agent following the 2014 NFL Draft. He has started 33 games for Jacksonville, including 18 over the past two seasons. He has played in 116 games in his nine-year career.

Now, they get set to play in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium on Oct. 16 at 1 p.m. when Week 6 kicks off. When Pederson was the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, his team faced off against the New York Giants twice in four weeks, Week 7 and Week 10."It's a quick turnaround, but we're excited for the opportunity, going to their place should be a great environment. A great fan base there. Looking forward to it," Pederson said of the quick turnaround.

"They know you and we know them," he said."You're not gonna fool anybody or trick anybody and it just comes down to your hard work and preparation. Listen, this is a well-coached team. It's a good football team. It's a disciplined football team. You see it on film."
