Will Tarantino's Movie Critic be his last film?

It has been reported that Paul Walter Hauser was in talks to star in the lead role in The Movie Critic before the SAG-AFTRA strikes began. The strikes mean no deal can be made for now, and it is uncertain that Hauser will still be able to take the role once the strikes are resolved.
Tarantino has said that he plans to make his final movie more “epilogue-y” and less of an unwieldy epic like Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, so The Movie Critic might not be as long and could be edited more quickly. It's also been reported that The Movie Critic would shoot in California which suggests the production is moving along. Of course, the movie will not be able to do any casting or start shooting until the SAG-AFTRA strikes are resolved.
When it comes to supporting roles, Tarantino tends to work with a lot of the same actors. If The Movie Critic will really be the last film that he directs, then it’ll be Tarantino’s last chance to work with frequent collaborators like Tim Roth, Christoph Waltz, and Samuel L. Jackson. With the intention to retire from filmmaking after The Movie Critic is finished, Tarantino is likely eager to include as many of his favorite collaborators as possible in the cast.
