. For years the filmmaker has said that once he completes 10 films, he’ll retreat from the movie business, and instead pivot to something else: TV! Plays! Tending to his personal life, even! On Monday night the director spoke to“That’s the idea,” Tarantino said. “I’m not saying I’ll just disappear like J.D. Salinger. I’ll be a writer...I like the idea of making 10 motion pictures. And then boom, that’s it, that’s done, the filmography is locked.
