Scout Lawlor and his mother were hit by another vehicle last January. Scout suffered significant injuries including to his brain.“I just remember pleading with God not to take him,” said Krystall Lawlor, Scout's mother.“My body forgot how to do everything, how to walk, how to talk, how to breathe,” said Scout. His faith and spirit would guide him forward as he went to rehab at Phoenix Children's hospital twice a day for months.
“Whenever Scout was having a hard time, I would start singing it to him like this is my fight song, take back my life song,” said Krystall.
