Queen Elizabeth II cancels online meetings, palace says she still has mild symptoms of COVID-19
Buckingham Palace said on Tuesday that the 95-year-old monarch"has decided not to undertake her planned virtual engagements today, but will continue with light duties."
She reached the milestone of 70 years on the throne on Feb. 6, the anniversary of the 1952 death of her father, King George VI. Charles is believed to have met with his mother, Queen Elizabeth II before his positive test but within the window of transmissibility. He had previously contracted COVID-19 in March 2020 during the first wave of the pandemic.
