🔴 Putin praised security services for preventing “civil war” during the Wagner uprising at the weekend in an unscheduled speech in Moscow
Mr Putin thanked the armed forces for their “bravery, valour, and loyalty to the people of Russia,” according to state media, and for preventing greater bloodshed during the uprising.
The President noted that the determination and courage of the army, law enforcement agencies and special services -as well as the consolidation of society – played a decisive role in quelling the insurgency.special military operation” in UkraineNational Guard chief Viktor Zolotov also spoke at the ceremony and suggested that Western powers may have contributed to the crisis.
