One was so sick it had to be put down
One pup had to be out down when a litter of six was found abandoned in a taped-up cardboard box stuffed in a hedge.
All six pups were taken to the RSPCA Greater Manchester Animal Hospital but one was so poorly he had to be put down. The rest are receiving round-the-clock care to nurse them back to health. "They are all underweight and dehydrated, and have a high worm burden, which is a lot for a tiny puppy to fight. It’s incredibly sad that one puppy couldn’t be saved but we’re keeping everything crossed that the others pull through."
