Christian Pulisic among Chelsea stars to unveil new home kit amid transfer speculation CFC
Chelsea have released their new home shirt for the 2022/23 campaign with a host of men’s and women’s team stars helping out.
Inspired by the club’s former manager, Ted Drake, the new jersey commemorates the innovations he made after arriving in west London in 1952.Reece and Lauren James were among those wearing the newly released shirtsOne such alteration was changing the club’s nickname from ‘the Pensioners’ to ‘the Blues’.Drake also led the club to their first-ever top-flight league title in 1955, something that Thomas Tuchel’s side will hoping to use as inspiration this term.
First-team stars such as Mason Mount, Trevoh Chalobah and Cesar Azpilicueta were all seen modeling the new shirt in Chelsea’s official release video, while Reece James, Kai Havertz and Tuchel also featured in some of the club’s newly released training gear.
With the new shirt confirmed, attention is firmly turning to the new season and Chelsea’s hopes of mounting a genuine challenge for the Premier League title.
