The publicity firm that represents Jason Aldean is parting ways with the country music star after nearly two decades.
The move by Nashville’s The GreenRoom follows a viral conversation resulting from his wife, Brittany, saying she was grateful her parents let her"tomboy phase" be just a phase.
“Music has always been and remains The GreenRoom’s core focus, so we had to make the difficult decision after 17 years to step away from representing Jason,” The GreenRoom co-owner Tyne Parrish told Billboard. “We aren’t the best people for the gig anymore, but will always be big fans of his music — he is one of the greatest live entertainers in country music.”Brittany Aldean’s social media post has drawn high praise, along with anger, as some have considered it to be transphobic.
