The 2008 slasher movie Prom Night is making the rounds on streaming services, prompting many to wonder if there's any Prom Night 2 news on the airwaves. While actress Brittany Snow didn't reach scream queen status until starring in Ti West's X, she's no stranger to the horror genre. Not counting the crime thriller On the Doll, Prom Night was Snow's first foray into horror, as she starred as senior high school student Donna Keppel.
The Latest Prom Night 2 News Unfortunately, there isn't a lot of Prom Night 2 news to go around. However, star Brittany Snow spoke during Collider's Ladies Night series about her 2008 horror film and how she was able to separate the film's poor reception from the pride she takes in her work. Snow responded that Prom Night did perform well at the box office and was the number-one movie for several weeks.
Prom Night 2 Isn't Confirmed As of now, there is no Prom Night 2 news about the sequel being in development. Therefore, it's safe to say that Prom Night 2 isn't confirmed. What this also means is that there won't be a Prom Night 2 release date to look forward to as the film isn't in any state of active development. Studios likely won't want to continue the Prom Night remake franchise after its poor critical reception in 2008.
