Mubi has successfully acquired the international rights to Sofia Coppola's next directorial feature Priscilla.
Following its upcoming world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival, Mubi will start releasing the biographical drama film in theaters in UK, Ireland, Germany, Latin America, Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, Benelux, and Turkey. The official release dates will be announced soon. As for its North American theatrical release, A24 will be the one distributing Priscilla in U.S. theaters on October 27.
The film is written and directed by the Oscar winning director of Lost in Translation and The Bling Ring, based on Priscilla’s 1985 memoir Elvis and Me. It stars
