Royal expert weighs in on how Prince William is feeling about brother Harry's Netflix doc and the claims made against him HarryandMeghanonNetflix
Prince William is “absolutely apoplectic” about his brother Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Netflix documentary and the claims Harry has made against him, according to a royal expert.
"It was terrifying to have my brother scream and shout at me, and my father say things that just simply weren't true, and my grandmother, you know, quietly sit there, and sort of take it all in,” Harry says. She continues: “The greatest irony in all this is Harry is attacking the media and yet he is using the media to attack his brother specifically and his family.
“Harry knows full well William isn’t going to retaliate. I think the palace’s stance of never complain, never explain in this instance is absolutely the right strategy because if they comment they will only fuel the narrative and allow the story more oxygen to run.Ms Nicholl also goes onto to describe what a detrimental effect Harry and Meghan’s words are on The Firm.
“Who is essentially setting up a rival court in Hollywood which I think is a very real threat to the monarchy. Whilst I think in this instance the palace’s lack of response is the right thing, there needs to be a shot across the bow from the palace to Harry and Meghan that this is not going to be tolerated and this has to stop.”
