A palace source says Prince Harry and Meghan Markle called the Queen to discuss their decision to boycott British papers, but didn't give details.
The source added that Harry did not tell his father, Prince Charles, about the plan at all and that, while

Media have every right to report on and indeed have an opinion on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, good or bad. But it can’t be based on a lie."
