BREAKING: Councillors vote to strip ‘disgraceful’ Prince Andrew of Freedom of the City of York.
Prince Andrew has been stripped of the Freedom of the City of York following a vote by councillors.
Members representing all the main parties voted for the motion to remove the duke’s honour, which was conferred on him in 1987.It comes after he made an out of court settlement with the woman who accused him of sexual assault.Check back shortly for further updates.
