It crashed after Primark announced the full list of 25 stores offering click and collect from today
Earlier today, high street giant Primark sent shoppers overboard as it allowed people to order items for the first time ever. For years, shoppers have been begging Primark to offer a service that allows them to buy clothes without having to battle large herds of people in store - particularly in the run-up to Christmas.
In fact, Primark's click-and-collect service has excited shoppers so much, its website has crashed. We can't say we're overly surprised. Some shoppers reported an error screen when trying to access the Primark website this morning. Primark told the BBC it was aware some people had been having trouble accessing its website. "We're working hard to address this to ensure that everyone can access and browse the site easily," the company said in a statement.
