month’s final weekend was marked, as ever, by all kinds of joyful goings-on.
They began on Friday evening, when the 29th annual Drag March stretched from Tompkins Square Park to the Stonewall Inn, and continued on Saturday, when the 31st annual Dyke March streamed from Midtown Manhattan to Greenwich Village. Photographer Ryan McGinley was on the ground at both, capturing the crowds, the colours, and the spirit of resistance as participants turned looks and wielded signs.
