Southport Food and Drink festival is back this weekend so we have taken a look at how much it will cost you to eat and drink during your day out.
The annual celebration of food returned to Victoria Park to offer independent businesses a chance to bring their meals to the masses. More than 100 hundred stalls are there, ranging from authentic Caribbean cuisine and classic salt and pepper favourites to sweet treats and cocktails. Everything on offer is within the region of £5 - £15, with monstrous portions taking up the more expensive price range.Sweet treats, nibbles and fries are around £3 - £5 per item or portion. Alcoholic drinks sit closer to the £5 mark with cocktails costing £8 - £10. For mains and heavier meals, depending on sides and the cuisine itself, you'll be expected to pay between £8 -£13. The largest portions will cost nearer the £15 mark.
Producers Aside from the above, there are quite a handful of independent businesses selling their products.
