Pretty Woman the musical is to tour UK including Manchester - how to get tickets affiliate
The musical of blockbuster movie Pretty Woman will head to Manchester as part of its first ever UK tour. The musical is currently playing to packed audiences at the Savoy Theatre on London's West End.
The story is set in the late 1980s and follows sex worker Vivian who has a chance meeting with corporate magnate Edward - and both of their lives go on to be transformed forever. Producers say audiences will be "swept up in the romanice in this dazzlingly theatrical take on a love story for the ages".They add that you will "get to know these iconic characters in a whole new way". It is billed as a "sensational show guaranteed to life your spirits and light up your heart.
Pretty Woman: The Musical features original music and lyrics by Grammy Award winner Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance, a book by Garry Marshall and the film’s screenwriter J.F. Lawton, it is directed and choreographed by the two-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell.
