Prest-hattan, anyone?
Plans to build a 19-storey apartment block next to the University of Central Lancashire look set to be given the green light.
The 19 storey tower is designed with a hexagonal shape and will accommodate 84 apartments with a smaller five storey podium having 36 apartments. The development includes a mix of 16 one-bed apartments and 104 two-bed apartments. All of these are to be built into a 100% open market build to rents scheme .
It concludes: "The proposal will deliver a landmark building in a gateway location within the Adelphi Quarter of Preston City Centre overlooking Adelphi/University Square and UCLan’s prestigious new campus buildings. The proposal will deliver significant benefits.
