Sarina Nagra , Alyssa Rudd and Nia Coleman led the way for Monte Vista in its East Bay Athletic League win over visiting Granada. Cassidy Bartolotto scored 23 points for Granada. Monte Vista improved 14-4, 3-1. Granada slipped to 11-6, 3-2.Newly ranked Los Gatos extended its winning streak to eight games after beating visiting Saratoga in a Santa Clara Valley Athletic League De Anza Division game. Ashley Childers scored a career-high 22 points and Nicole Steiner 18 points for the winning side.
Dougherty Valley, playing at home in San Ramon, stretched its winning streak to six games after its rout of Foothill in an EBAL game. Conner Sevilla scored 13 points and Jordan Silva had 11 points for Dougherty Valley, which improved to 18-1, 3-0. Jordan Taylor led the way for Foothill, which dropped to 13-7, 1-2.Dublin’s Jalen Stokes scored 24 points in the Gaels’ win over visiting California in an EBAL game.
