A young pregnant said she's been left fearing for the health of her family after a foul-smelling sewage leak in her home. Chloe Cox said she was left with the situation for eight days over Christmas after the leak spilled effluent into the kitchen and living room .
But Ms Cox and her partner, who does not live with her, are upset that the effluent was left in the house over Christmas, after the leak became evident on December 21. The director of property at EMH has been in touch with Ms Cox personally to discuss the unfortunate situation. Ms Cox remains upset, however, and said she feared for the health of her family due to her living conditions since first contacting EMH.
“It’s horrible to have to tell my daughter to wear a snood and blankets to keep warm whilst using a little electronic heater that they only gave us in December. And the house absolutely stinks.”
