The new Netflix film has some Leeds landmarks in the background
The famous Duck & Drake on Kirkgate has been standing in for Burnley in the background of the Netflix film Bank of Dave. The Duck & Drake has been open since 1985 but has a much longer history than that.
According to the pub itself, it has been known by a number of different names over the years, such as The Horse & Groom and The Brougham’s Arms. They also say a pub has stood on the site for more than 200 years. It's Victorian Architecture made it perfect to stand in the background of the new film.The Bank of Dave, which was released on the streaming platform on January 16, 2023, focuses on the story of Dave Fishwick.
