Ministers were criticised for alerting parents that some schools would close only days before the start of the new term. In an op-ed in The Sun on Sunday, she writes this is"not a return to the dark days of school lockdowns".
Ms Keegan assured parents that"the vast majority of schools are not and will not be affected", though surveys of schools buildings continue.
