A multi-agency taskforce made up of Police and Trading Standards took part in a 'day of action' before uncovering hundreds of counterfeit products.
Cops have seized a major haul of illicit tobacco products including vapes from an Ayrshire shop. Officers found 18 pouches of illegal tobacco, 59 packets of counterfeit cigarettes and 302 dodgy vape products in a store in Irvine.
The multi-agency day of action was carried out by Preventions & Interventions Officer PC Jenner who was joined by Steven Bodys of North Ayrshire Trading Standards. But the duo uncovered a huge stash of products in one store, with images showing the incredible range of tobacco, cigarettes and vapes uncovered.
