AROUND 42 kilograms of what is believed to be cocaine were seized after two cars were stopped in Glasgow, police have said.The cars were stopped in Dunragit Street, Glasgow on Thursday by officers in the organised crime unit.
Police said that two men, aged 34 and 56, had been arrested and charged in connection with the seizure.Detective superintendent David Ferry said: “This operation underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy. “People’s lives are ruined by drugs and we are determined to disrupt criminal activity which has such a negative impact on the lives of our communities.
