Martin Moran hasn't been seen since he left Larch Grove House estate, Balerno at 6am on Friday, November 18.
Police are scouring the Water of Leith in the search for a missing man who vanished from Edinburgh one week ago.
Specialist resources have been deployed to the area to aid the search. Local residents have also been asked to check their gardens, sheds and outbuildings for Martin or the distinctive beige trench coat he was last seen wearing. Chief Inspector Mark Hamilton said: "A week has now passed since Martin was last seen and his family and friends are extremely concerned about him.
